The Stables at Springhill in Falmouth is a 3-minute drive away from the Beach Houses and is very close to several beaches and to the historic sites of English Harbour. You can ride in the cool of the morning or explore English Harbour in the afternoon. They offer some wonderful trail rides through the hills with scenic views, or treks to the beach with the opportunity to swim with your horse in the stunning waters of Antigua.

All of their horse rides are private with a maximum number of four riders. Their most popular ride is one hour long and takes you around for a gentle trek around a beautiful valley and they take you out to the water in Falmouth Bay where you can splash and wade. This adventure comes with stunning views and lovely photo opportunities. All of their rides leave the stable at 8:30 am and they operate from Monday through to Sunday. Advanced booking is highly recommended.

They carry insurance but you will also need to sign a waiver. They recommend that you wear the lightweight and aerated helmets that they provide which are also required by their insurance. For their rides, they will let you know about the proper wardrobe. For example, long pants or leggings will be great as well as proper shoes. Flipflops and sandals are not improper shoewear for this type of activity. They require approximate weight, age and ability for each rider in order to pair you with the perfect horse companion. They also offer private lessons in Dressage and Show Jumping, for anyone interested.

For advanced and adventurous riders, they recommend the Rendezvous trail. This trail leads you to an unspoiled beach with gorgeous views on your way. Make sure to pack snacks and lots of water for this one!
